Just a Lid Ceramic Travel Mug Lid
Silicone is only a gasket/seal — what touches your food is Ceramic / Stoneware / Porcelain.
A plastic-free ceramic replacement lid that drops onto standard steel tumblers, so the surface you sip from is ceramic instead of plastic. Currently sold out at the maker (not discontinued).
The verdict: Silicone only
This is the rare purchasable fix for the travel-mug lid problem: a 100% food-grade ceramic lid that replaces the plastic lid you normally drink through. Paired with a steel tumbler, hot coffee then touches only steel and ceramic, with a silicone gasket to seal - so it moves a plastic-lid mug into silicone-only territory. Fit is the catch, not the materials - see notes.

What it's made of
| Part | Material | Food contact |
|---|---|---|
| lid body 100% food-grade ceramic; this is the surface you drink over | Ceramic / Stoneware / Porcelain | Yes primary |
| sealing gasket silicone gasket seats the lid onto the mug rim (the drink-contact surface itself is ceramic) | Silicone | Yes seal |
A retrofit lid rather than a mug: you keep the insulated steel tumbler you already own and swap its plastic lid for this hand-finished ceramic one, without buying a whole new vessel. It's hand-finished ceramic, sold in two colors, sized for common tumbler openings.
Pros
- One of the only purchasable ceramic retrofit lids for standard tumblers
- Cheaper than buying a new ceramic-lid mug
- Ceramic imparts no plastic taste to hot coffee
Cons
- Fit is not universal - confirmed on Yeti, but NOT Stanley or MiiR, and not all wider Yeti sizes
- Ceramic can chip or crack if dropped
- Frequently sold out
Notes
- Fits most standard 12-20oz tumblers/mugs; measure your mug's opening before ordering, as the brand's fit list is not exhaustive
- Hand-wash to preserve the glaze
