Porlex
A metal-and-ceramic grinder brand that gets most of the way there but not all: the body, lid, and grinds cup are stainless steel and the burrs are rust-proof ceramic, which is a genuinely durable, mostly plastic-free build. The catch is a POM (plastic) inner section that the beans sit in during grinding, which is why the Mini II lands at minimal-contact rather than plastic-free. Porlex clearly favors metal, but plastic still lines the actual bean path.
How clear are their specs?
The stainless body and ceramic burrs are front-and-center, while the POM plastic component the beans contact is easy to miss unless you look closely at the internals.
