Kiddobloom
About as uncompromising as the category gets: solid 304 stainless utensils and dishware with no coating, paint, or even silicone anywhere. Unlike most "plastic-free" baby brands that still lean on a silicone grip or suction ring, Kiddobloom drops soft parts entirely, so the plastic-free claim is literal rather than "silicone-only." The trade-off is bare metal on new gums, but on plastic content there's simply nothing to criticize here.
How clear are their specs?
States the exact steel grade (304 / 18/8) and is explicit that there are no coatings, paint, or silicone parts - a simple, fully-visible material with nothing hidden.
Lead testing disclosure
Publishes actual named test results (not just a compliance statement) on its own product pages: detection limits and "not detected" readings for lead and cadmium (via acid extraction / inductively coupled argon plasma spectrometry, per CPSIA 16 CFR 1500.48/1500.49 and FDA GRAS), plus independent XRF testing (Lead Safe Mama) of a Kiddobloom set separately came back non-detect. One of the more thorough disclosures in the category - actual numbers, not just a "lead-free" label.
- manufacturer https://kiddobloom.com/pages/children-stainless-steel-bowl-safety published lab test results (detection limits + not-detected readings) for lead and cadmium
